Weather delays are handled under our Cancellations & Rescheduling Policy.

Sometimes. If irrigation checks are needed for your project, you may need to provide access to the irrigation timer/controller so we can test affected zones.

We do not promise a full-system test every time, but we test what is impacted when feasible.

You may communicate with our office/admin, project lead, superintendent, or project manager as appropriate.

Important: Official decisions and approvals (especially scope changes) must be in writing (text/email) and may need to be reflected in updated Square documents when applicable.

Engineering is required when:

  • The wall is over 4 feet total exposed height, or
  • The wall supports structures, vehicles, or steep slopes.

Engineering is also required when the wall is near a building foundation or pool, retaining a steep slope or parking area, or when vehicle loading near the wall is requested.

Drainage helps reduce water pressure behind the wall.

For segmented block or masonry walls over ~12–18 inches, we use free-draining backfill (washed stone) directly behind the wall and a perforated drain pipe at the base with appropriate outlet(s).

Depending on soil and weather, minor settling or cosmetic changes can occur.

Significant movement, bulging, leaning, or drainage issues are not normal and should be reported promptly with photos.

Do not add heavy loads near the wall (vehicles/equipment) unless the wall is engineered for it.

Vehicle loading near the wall is one of the triggers that requires a stamped engineered design.

Report it promptly with photos:

  • Send wide + close-up photos.
  • Describe what you see (leaning, bulge, cracking, washout).
