Quick Answer: What Most Clean-Ups Cost

How Much Does a Seasonal Yard Clean-Up Cost in San Antonio?

On most San Antonio lots under about 10,000 square feet, Premium front- or back-only clean-ups typically land in the low-to-mid $200s, while Deluxe front- or back-only clean-ups are often in the low-to-mid $300s.Booking both front and back together usually offers better value per area, with many full-yard resets on typical lots falling somewhere in the $400–$800+ range depending on debris volume, weeds, and shrub overgrowth.Seasonal specials like the Winter-to-Spring Yard Reset, Spring Weed & Bed Refresh, and Heat & Storm Yard Tidy-Up are simply timed versions of our Deluxe-style clean-ups with a focused seasonal bonus built in.Your exact price is based on lot size (lot square footage minus house footprint), whether we’re doing the front, back, or both, how messy the beds and shrubs are, and whether you add haul-off, weed treatment, odor or insect control, or powerwashing.

  • Premium Clean-Ups: basic reset for most maintained yards; often in the low-to-mid $200s per area on smaller lots.
  • Deluxe Clean-Ups: deeper bed and shrub detail; often in the low-to-mid $300s per area on smaller lots.
  • Front + Back together usually costs less per area than doing each on separate visits.
  • Final pricing depends on lot size, debris volume, access, shrub overgrowth, and any add-ons you select.

How we build fair, predictable cleanup pricing

Understanding Yard Clean-Up Costs Before You Book

Seasonal clean-up pricing is not a random number. We start with your property size, decide whether we’re doing the front, back, or both, match you to a Premium or Deluxe scope, and then adjust for real-world conditions like leaf volume, weeds, shrubs, and access. Add-ons like odor control, insect treatments, weed spraying, powerwashing, and haul-off are layered on top so you only pay for what you actually need.

1. Property size and front vs back pricing

We price clean-ups using your lot size minus your house footprint, not just your home square footage. That gives us a realistic picture of how much yard we’re actually cleaning. Each yard is grouped into a size band (for example: up to 2,500 sq ft, 2,501–5,000 sq ft, 5,001–7,500 sq ft, and so on).

Within that band, we price the front yard and backyard separately because they often have very different conditions. A front yard may stay fairly tidy while the backyard collects most of the leaves, toys, and pet mess. You can book front-only, back-only, or both. Booking both together usually gives you better value per area because our travel and setup time is shared.

For example, a small San Antonio lot with a reasonably maintained front yard might only need a Premium front-yard reset. The same property with a heavily used backyard, messy beds, and more shrubs may land in a Deluxe range for the back yard.

2. Premium vs Deluxe: what changes in scope and cost

Both Premium and Deluxe clean-ups handle the basics: blowing and raking leaves, bagging debris, cleaning out planter beds, and clearing patios, porches, and walkways. The difference is in the level of detail and how much time we budget.

  • Premium Clean-Up: Our “basic reset” for yards that are due for a refresh but not out of control. Includes leaf and debris cleanup, basic bed cleanout around shrubs, a light rake, and rinsing key hard surfaces. Light shrub trimming is included for a limited number of shrubs (for example, up to around five) as long as they only need shaping, not major cutbacks.
  • Deluxe Clean-Up: Our “detailed reset” for yards that need more attention. Includes everything in Premium plus deeper bed detail (under shrubs and along edges), more shrub trimming (for example, up to around seven shrubs), and a more thorough patio/porch treatment with some broom-scrub detail where needed.

Because Deluxe includes more time and detail work, it costs more than Premium for the same property size. However, it’s usually the better value when beds are messy under shrubs, shrubs need shaping, or you want the yard to look truly “reset,” not just cleaned up.

3. Seasonal specials: Winter-to-Spring, Spring Weed & Bed Refresh, Heat & Storm Tidy-Up

Seasonal specials are limited-time bundles that take our standard cleanup structure and tune it to what San Antonio yards actually need at that time of year.

  • Winter-to-Spring Yard Reset: A Deluxe-style cleanup focused on recovering from cold and neglect. Expect detailed bed cleanouts, light corrective pruning on shrubs, and attention to freeze-damaged material. Often paired with a “bed boost” such as a light soil conditioner or ornamental fertilizer in a limited square footage of beds.
  • Spring Weed & Bed Refresh: A cleanup aimed at early weeds and getting beds looking clean for the growing season. Includes cleanup and bed detail work, and is commonly paired with the Weed Treatment add-on to help manage early-season weed pressure.
  • Heat & Storm Yard Tidy-Up: A mid-summer service focused on storm debris, fast-growing weeds, and cleaning up visible areas so the yard is usable again. Typically includes quick bed cleanup, redefining visible edges, redistributing existing mulch or rock, and flagging any drainage issues that showed up during recent rains.

These specials are priced similarly to a Deluxe cleanup for your size band but include seasonal bonuses and limited-time offers that often make them the best value if the timing lines up with your yard’s needs.

4. Add-ons that change the final price

Clean-ups are built to handle leaves, beds, shrubs, and surfaces. Many homeowners also choose add-ons that solve specific problems. These items are optional and priced by property size or quantity:

  • Eco-friendly outdoor odor eliminator: Enzyme-based treatment for pet areas, turf, gravel, and hard surfaces. On most residential lots, this usually falls somewhere around the low $100s to mid $200s depending on yard size.
  • Lawn insect control: Yard-wide insect reduction for lawns, beds, and outdoor living areas. Typical budgets range from the mid $100s into the low $300s as the yard size increases.
  • Weed treatment: Selective weed spraying in lawns plus cracks in patios and sidewalks. Smaller lots often fall under $100; larger properties trend higher as we cover more area.
  • Powerwashing: Light powerwashing for patios, porches, and walkways at moderate pressure. This is meant for general grime, not deep stain removal, and is priced by yard size and surface area.
  • Dump / haul-off fee: By default, bagged debris can be left at the curb. If you prefer that we haul bags away, a flat haul-off fee applies per load of bags.
  • Extra shrub trimming: Clean-ups include light trimming on a set number of shrubs. Additional shrubs or heavy corrective pruning are priced per shrub once we see the scope.

During quoting, we walk you through which add-ons make sense for your yard today and which can wait. That way you’re not paying for services that don’t move the needle.

Typical Seasonal Yard Clean-Up Price Ranges in San Antonio

For many San Antonio homes under about 10,000 square feet of yard area, you can expect to invest roughly the low-to-mid $200s to low $400s for a Premium or Deluxe reset on either the front or the back yard. When you book both front and back together, most full-yard clean-ups land somewhere in the $400–$800+ range depending on how much debris, weed growth, and shrub detail is needed.Larger lots, heavy leaf loads from mature trees, extensive bed systems, or a high number of shrubs naturally push the time requirements up. In those cases—and when multiple add-ons like odor control, insect treatments, weed spraying, powerwashing, and haul-off are combined—it’s common for total budgets to climb into the $700–$1,200+ range. The goal is not to surprise you. We use your lot size, photos, and a brief conversation about leaf volume, beds, and shrubs to place you in the right band, then confirm final pricing in writing before any work starts. Before scheduling work, review our project guidelines so the project expectations are clear.

  • Pricing is based on yard area (lot square footage minus house footprint), not just home size.
  • Front and back yards are priced separately but are often more cost-effective when booked together.
  • Leaf volume, weeds, bed count, shrub overgrowth, and access can all increase the time required.
  • Dump and haul-off fees, odor control, insect control, weed treatments, and powerwashing are optional add-ons.
  • Written estimates confirm the exact scope, current pricing, and any seasonal specials that apply.

By default, we bag leaves and debris and can place the bags at your curb.

Many homeowners like this option because their garbage service will take the bags. If you prefer that we haul everything away, we add a dump and haul-off fee to cover the extra time, labor, and dump costs. That fee is clearly shown on your estimate so you can choose what makes sense.

If your yard needs a Deluxe-level cleanup anyway, the Winter-to-Spring Yard Reset, Spring Weed & Bed Refresh, or Heat & Storm Yard Tidy-Up often give you extra seasonal work—like freeze recovery in beds, curb-ready edge detail, or focused post-storm tidying—at a bundled rate. If your yard is already in good shape, a standard Premium cleanup may be all you need.

Premium is our basic reset focused on clearing leaves, cleaning out beds, and getting patios, porches, and walkways looking clean.

Deluxe includes everything in Premium but budgets more time for detail work—more shrubs trimmed, more attention under and around plantings, and extra effort on visible areas. If your beds are messy under shrubs or you want a true ‘before and after’ feel, Deluxe is usually the better choice.

    In most cases, yes.

There are fixed costs just to get a crew and truck to your property. When we handle the front and back in the same visit, that overhead is shared, so the combined price is usually more efficient than doing two separate trips. That’s why many homeowners book a full-yard reset even if one side is a little cleaner than the other.

We start by estimating your yard area using your lot square footage minus the house footprint.

That places you in a size band. Then we look at whether you need the front, back, or both cleaned, and whether a Premium or Deluxe scope makes more sense. Finally, we factor in leaf volume, weeds, shrub overgrowth, and access, plus any add-ons like haul-off, weed treatment, odor control, insect control, or powerwashing. All of that is rolled into a written estimate before we begin.
