What Do Our Yard Clean-Ups Include in San Antonio?
Every seasonal clean-up includes leaf and debris cleanup, planter bed cleanout, and clearing off key hard surfaces like porches, patios, and walkways. Premium is the basic reset for maintained yards; Deluxe adds more bed detail, more shrub trimming, and extra attention to visible areas.Seasonal specials such as the Winter-to-Spring Yard Reset, Spring Weed & Bed Refresh, and Heat & Storm Yard Tidy-Up are built on top of those packages and tuned to the problems San Antonio yards face at different times of year.Services like weed treatment, powerwashing, outdoor odor control, insect control, dump and haul-off, and heavy shrub or tree work are available as add-ons or separate line items. We spell out which items are included and which are optional before we start.
- All clean-ups include leaf and debris cleanup, basic bed cleanout, and blowing/rinsing key hard surfaces.
- Premium is the ‘basic reset’ for maintained yards; Deluxe is the ‘detailed reset’ with more shrub and bed attention.
- Seasonal specials are Deluxe-style clean-ups focused on winter recovery, spring weeds, or heat and storm damage.
- Weed treatment, odor control, insect control, powerwashing, haul-off, and heavy cutbacks are add-ons or separate services.
Clarity on scope prevents surprises on cleanup day
What You Get with Premium, Deluxe, and Seasonal Resets
A yard clean-up should not feel vague. When you book with us, you know exactly what is included in the base price and what counts as an add-on. That clarity protects you from surprise charges and helps our crews deliver the level of detail you expect.
1. Core tasks included in every seasonal clean-up
Both Premium and Deluxe clean-ups start with the same foundation. Our crews:
- Blow and rake leaves and small debris from turf areas, beds, and around structures.
- Bag collected debris and stage bags for you (typically at the curb unless haul-off is added).
- Clean out planter beds by removing leaves, trash, and obvious debris around shrubs and plants.
- Blow off porches, patios, and walkways and give them a basic rinse to remove loose dirt and dust.
- Do basic visible weed pulling in key areas as time allows, focusing on spots that impact curb appeal most.
This core scope is designed to give your property a noticeable refresh even if you already have a separate mowing service.
2. What Deluxe adds on top of Premium
Deluxe clean-ups are for yards that need more than a basic reset. Compared to Premium, a Deluxe visit typically includes:
- More shrub trimming and shaping: A higher number of shrubs are included for light trimming and shaping. This is ideal when shrubs have grown outside their normal outline but do not require heavy cutbacks.
- Deeper bed detail: We spend more time cleaning under and between shrubs, along bed edges, and in less visible corners so beds look intentional, not just ‘blown out.’
- Extra attention to hard surfaces: Patios, porches, and walkways receive additional broom-scrub detail in dirty areas after the initial blow-off and rinse.
Deluxe is the right choice when beds have significant leaf build-up under shrubs, shrubs need shaping, or you want the yard to look as if it has been reset, not just cleared.

For ground-cover material planning, compare dark native mulch with the site conditions discussed above.
For edging material planning, compare steel landscape edging with the bed layout discussed above.
3. How seasonal specials change the scope
Our seasonal specials layer specific tasks on top of the standard cleanup structure so you get work that matches the season:
- Winter-to-Spring Yard Reset: Focuses on clearing winter debris, cleaning out beds, and lightly correcting freeze-damaged material. Often paired with a limited “bed boost” such as a soil conditioner or ornamental fertilizer in select beds.
- Spring Weed & Bed Refresh: Aims at early weed pressure and getting beds looking clean for spring. Includes a strong cleanup plus detailed bed work, and is commonly paired with the Weed Treatment add-on.
- Heat & Storm Yard Tidy-Up: Targets post-storm debris and fast summer growth. We prioritize visible areas—front entry, main patio, and high-use spaces—redefining edges, redistributing existing mulch or rock, and flagging drainage issues we notice.
These specials run during specific months and use our existing Premium/Deluxe structure as the base. When the timing lines up with your yard’s needs, they are usually the best value.

4. What’s not included by default (and how we price it)
To keep clean-ups affordable and predictable, some work is not included in the base price and is always quoted separately:
- Major shrub or tree work: Heavy cutbacks, removals, or extensive pruning beyond light shaping are separate services.
- New mulch, rock, or edging: Installing fresh ground cover or borders is part of our landscape bed installation service, not a standard cleanup.
- Drainage fixes or grading: Addressing standing water or slope issues is quoted as drainage installation or yard grading work.
- Deep powerwashing and stain removal: Light powerwashing can be added, but specialized stain removal and chemicals are a different scope.
- Junk or bulk item removal: Moving furniture, large junk items, or construction debris is handled on a case-by-case basis.
During quoting, we’ll tell you clearly what is included as part of the cleanup and what would require a separate line item or project.

See All Frequently Asked QuestionsThe Winter-to-Spring Yard Reset is our seasonal version of a Deluxe clean-up focused on post-winter recovery.
In addition to the usual debris cleanup, bed detail, and shrub shaping, we concentrate on removing freeze-damaged material in beds and may apply a limited ‘bed boost’ treatment such as a light soil conditioner or ornamental fertilizer to help plants bounce back. It is offered for a limited time in late winter and early spring.

By default, we bag leaves and yard waste and can place the bags at your curb for your regular trash service.
If you prefer that we haul bags away, we add a dump and haul-off fee to cover the extra time, truck space, and dump charges. You’ll see that fee listed as a separate line item on your estimate so you can decide what works best.

We pull obvious weeds in key areas during the cleanup, especially where they affect the look of beds and entry areas.
However, ongoing weed problems in lawns, joints, or large bed systems are best handled with our Weed Treatment add-on. That service uses appropriate suppressants to address weeds more thoroughly than a one-time pull can.

Deluxe clean-ups build on all the Premium tasks and add more time for detail.
Our crews clean deeper under and between shrubs, pay more attention to bed edges, include light trimming on more shrubs, and spend extra time detailing visible hard surfaces. If you want your beds to look more intentional and your main outdoor spaces to feel truly reset, Deluxe is usually the right fit.
