Questions Before You Submit?

Here are a few quick answers about how this page works and what to expect after you fill out the form.

Once you submit a request, we start by reviewing your project details to make sure we’re the right fit and that we can provide an accurate solution.

Step 1: Initial review and follow‑up We’ll reach out to ask a few questions about what you’re looking to do.

Depending on the project, we may also request photos or additional details. This helps us understand the scope, identify potential challenges, and avoid unnecessary site visits when they’re not needed.

Step 2: Estimate preparation If it looks like a good fit, we’ll prepare an estimate based on the information gathered.

In many cases, we can provide a preliminary estimate before an on‑site visit. For more complex projects, we may schedule a site evaluation to confirm measurements, drainage conditions, or layout considerations.

Step 3: Review and approval We’ll go over the estimate with you by phone or in person, answer any questions, and make sure everything is clear.

If you decide to move forward, the estimate is converted into a formal quote and service agreement.

Step 4: Deposit and scheduling To reserve your project, a 50% deposit is required.

Deposits can be paid online or arranged by check or cash if preferred. Once the agreement is signed and the deposit is received, we coordinate with our vendors and project team to confirm material availability, set a start date, and provide an estimated completion timeline.

We follow this process to ensure every project is properly planned, accurately priced, and realistically scheduled — for both you and our team.

Yes. Putting greens are listed as a dedicated product with specs and photos, but the final price is custom-quoted based on design, contours, and features (undulations, bunker edges, fringe). We list typical price bands and common upgrade costs on the putting‑green page to help planning, but each project receives a tailored design quote.

Because asking the right questions upfront allows us to give you accurate advice, realistic pricing, and the right level of on‑site evaluation — not guesses.

Not every project requires the same type of visit.

Some jobs only require basic measurements, while others require deeper troubleshooting for drainage, grading, or layout challenges. By asking questions and reviewing photos first, we can determine what’s actually needed and avoid unnecessary visits that don’t add value to your project.

This step also helps confirm that:

  • We can solve the problem you’re experiencing
  • The scope of work is clearly understood
  • Your expectations and budget are aligned before moving forward

We respect your time, and we also plan our site visits carefully.

Gathering details in advance ensures that, when we do schedule a visit, it’s productive and efficient, and it leads to a clear plan—not a second appointment to “figure things out.”

In short, the upfront questions help us do things right the first time and provide you with a better overall experience.

It depends on your total project cost:

  • Projects $0–$10,000: 50% deposit.
  • Projects above $10,000: 1/3 deposit, 1/3 progress payment, 1/3 final payment.

If your estimate includes separate phases or add-ons, the deposit is still based on the total project cost shown in your agreement.

In many cases, yes — but it depends on the type of project and the level of detail needed to price it correctly.

For straightforward work, we can often provide a preliminary price range after a phone consultation and a review of photos.

This gives you a realistic starting point and helps determine whether the project makes sense to move forward before scheduling an on‑site visit.

For more complex projects — such as drainage issues, grading, or multi‑service installations — an in‑person evaluation is usually required. These situations often involve conditions that can’t be accurately assessed without seeing the property, taking measurements, and identifying site‑specific challenges.

Our goal is not to give fast guesses. It’s to provide pricing that reflects the actual scope of work and avoids surprises later. That’s why we match the level of evaluation to the project, rather than using a one‑size‑fits‑all approach.

If a ballpark estimate is possible, we’ll tell you. If an on‑site visit is needed, we’ll explain why before scheduling anything.

The final payment is due immediately upon completion after the final walkthrough.

  • The walkthrough is completed with the superintendent or project manager.
  • Once the walkthrough is complete, payment is due right then.

We may send a text message with a payment link after the walkthrough so you can pay right away.

For projects above $10,000, the progress payment (the second 1/3) is due at the end of the first day of the project.

This helps keep materials, labor, and scheduling on track for multi-day projects.

Having a few key details ready helps us understand your project quickly and determine the best next step.

When you reach out, it’s helpful to know:

  • What areas of the yard do you want to improve
  • The main issue you’re trying to solve (for example, drainage problems, a worn‑out lawn, or layout changes)
  • Whether the work is in the front yard, backyard, or both
  • Any general budget range you’re comfortable working within

Photos are especially helpful. Clear pictures of the area help us identify potential challenges and decide whether a site visit is needed or if a preliminary estimate can be provided.

You don’t need everything figured out—just enough information for us to understand the scope and avoid unnecessary back‑and‑forth.

In many cases, no, you do not need to be home.

For projects that only require standard measurements or visual evaluation of lawn areas, beds, or hardscape locations, we can often complete the site visit without you present. This allows us to move quickly and schedule evaluations more efficiently.

For more complex projects—such as drainage troubleshooting, layout changes, or situations where design decisions need to be made—we may recommend that you be present so we can walk the property together, discuss options, and answer questions on the spot.

We’ll let you know in advance which type of visit makes the most sense for your project so expectations are clear and your time isn’t wasted.

The timeline can vary depending on the project’s type and complexity, but most estimates move quickly once we have the right information.

After our initial call and review of photos or measurements, we can often complete the estimate process for straightforward projects within a few business days.

More involved projects—such as drainage solutions or multi‑service installations—may take longer due to site evaluations, planning, and vendor coordination.

If an on‑site visit is required, the timing will also depend on scheduling availability. We ensure clear communication and constant updates to keep you informed about the next steps.

Our goal is to provide accurate, realistic estimates that are not rushed.
