Sod Installation Warranty Terms
San Antonio Landscaping Services provides a two-part limited warranty for all new sod installations. This warranty is designed to explain what is covered at the time of installation, what may qualify during the first 30 days, and what customers must do to maintain eligibility.
48-Hour Installation Guarantee
We guarantee that the sod is fresh, healthy, and properly installed at the time of service. Any issues such as dead patches, gaps, or misalignment must be reported within 48 hours of completion for correction at no charge.
30-Day Limited Establishment Warranty
If areas of sod fail to establish within the first 30 days, San Antonio Landscaping Services will offer a one-time replacement of up to 90 square feet per pallet installed, provided the required warranty conditions are met.
To qualify for the 30-Day Limited Establishment Warranty, the customer must follow all watering and maintenance instructions provided at installation, have an automatic irrigation system or document manual watering efforts, report the issue in writing within 30 days, and include clear photos.
What Is Not Covered
This warranty does not apply when sod failure is due to neglect, lack of watering, shade, animal damage, traffic, pests, chemical misuse, or extreme weather. The warranty does not guarantee full lawn survival and does not cover aesthetic imperfections.
Our team evaluates each claim, and replacement, if warranted, is provided one time only.
Estimate and Invoice Language
The standard sod installation warranty may be summarized as: includes 48-Hour Quality Guarantee plus 30-Day Limited Warranty, up to 90 square feet per pallet with proper care.
Optional Premium Sod Warranty Upgrade
The Premium Sod Warranty is an optional add-on that extends coverage up to 60 days instead of 30 days and increases the coverage limit up to 150 square feet per pallet installed instead of 90 square feet.
The Premium Sod Warranty also includes one free on-site check-up if requested within the first 2 weeks and one free spot treatment or repair visit, which may include patching, fertilizer application, or light topdressing if needed.
The Premium Sod Warranty requires the customer to follow all standard watering and care instructions. It is not valid during watering restrictions or without evidence of proper care.
