Landscape Lighting Installation Warranty Terms

This warranty applies to qualifying low-voltage landscape lighting installations completed by San Antonio Landscaping Services. It explains the limited workmanship coverage included with lighting installation work, manufacturer warranty support for lighting components, customer responsibilities, exclusions, and the process for reporting a concern.

Warranty Coverage Period

San Antonio Landscaping Services provides a 1-year limited workmanship warranty for low-voltage landscape lighting installation work performed by our team. The warranty begins on the installation completion date shown on the final invoice.

This warranty applies only to the lighting components and installation work included in the approved written scope. It does not apply to line-voltage electrical work, existing electrical systems, homeowner-provided materials, third-party modifications, or components not installed by San Antonio Landscaping Services.

Manufacturer Component Warranties

Fixtures, transformers, lamps, connectors, timers, controls, and other lighting components may include manufacturer warranty coverage depending on the product used. Manufacturer warranties are controlled by the manufacturer’s terms, conditions, inspection process, exclusions, and approval decisions.

Manufacturer warranties often cover qualifying product defects but may not cover labor, removal, reinstallation, shipping, service calls, or damage caused by site conditions or misuse unless stated by the manufacturer.

San Antonio Landscaping Services can help document and submit manufacturer warranty claims for products we supplied and installed, but final decisions are made by the manufacturer.

What May Be Covered

Covered workmanship items may include installation defects in low-voltage landscape lighting work performed by San Antonio Landscaping Services.

  • Installation-related connection failures caused by our workmanship
  • Low-voltage wire installation defects caused by our work
  • Fixture mounting or placement issues that do not match the approved written scope
  • Transformer installation issues caused by our workmanship
  • Workmanship-related failure of lighting components installed by our team

If a covered workmanship defect is confirmed during the warranty period, San Antonio Landscaping Services will determine the appropriate repair or correction for the affected work.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover burned-out bulbs or lamps, normal bulb replacement, timer adjustments, photocell adjustments, app settings, Wi-Fi or smart-control connectivity issues, transformer programming changes, GFCI trips caused by property electrical issues, power outages, power surges, lightning, flooding, irrigation damage, pet damage, wildlife damage, pests, landscaping tool damage, mower or trimmer damage, vehicle damage, theft, vandalism, third-party work, homeowner modifications, plant growth blocking fixtures, or repositioning requested after installation.

Electrical issues outside the low-voltage lighting system installed by San Antonio Landscaping Services may require a licensed electrician and are not covered under this workmanship warranty.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain warranty eligibility, customers must avoid cutting, moving, burying, modifying, or disconnecting lighting wires and fixtures. Customers should keep fixtures clear of overgrown plants, mulch, soil, and debris, avoid directing irrigation at fixtures or transformers, and contact San Antonio Landscaping Services before allowing third-party work that may disturb lighting components.

Customers are responsible for routine lighting adjustments, cleaning, bulb replacement when applicable, app or timer setting changes, and protecting the system from physical damage.

How to File a Warranty Claim

To file a warranty claim, contact San Antonio Landscaping Services by phone at (210) 625-6438 or by email at [email protected].

Please provide your name and property address, the installation completion date from your invoice, photos or video of the concern, and a brief description of the issue, including whether the problem affects one fixture, a zone, or the full lighting system.

San Antonio Landscaping Services will review the documentation and may schedule an inspection if needed. If the issue is covered, we will explain the repair plan or assist with the manufacturer warranty process when applicable. If the issue is not covered, we can provide a repair estimate.

If a reported issue is found not to be covered under this warranty, a service call fee may apply. The fee will be disclosed before scheduling non-covered work.

Limits, Conditions, and Exclusions

Remedies for workmanship claims are limited to repair or correction of the covered defect. San Antonio Landscaping Services is not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including loss of use, electrical issues outside our scope, property damage caused by outside conditions, or work performed by others.

Total liability will never exceed the original installation price paid for the affected landscape lighting scope. Warranties are non-transferable unless stated otherwise on the invoice. Warranty coverage begins on the installation completion date and may be suspended if the customer’s account is not current.

San Antonio Landscaping Services reserves the right to determine whether a lighting concern is a covered workmanship defect, manufacturer component issue, maintenance item, property electrical issue, physical damage, or additional work outside the original scope.
